The Project

A vertical family home that turns a tight urban plot into a generous, light-filled sequence of rooms.

The Bhanushali House extracts a remarkable 249 sq.mt. of built-up area from a 136 sq.mt. urban plot. The design works vertically, stacking living, family and private quarters around a central daylight shaft.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were detailed with a strong material narrative, fluted timber, soft stone and warm metals, to lend each private room its own character within a unified overall language.
