The Project

A 7,700 sq.mt. multi-speciality hospital designed to feel calm, dignified and unmistakably civic from the street.

Shifa Hospital occupies a strategic urban site in Bhuj, with 7,717 sq.mt. of built-up area distributed across out-patient, in-patient and specialty floors.

The architecture deliberately resists the harshness typical of healthcare buildings, wards open onto daylit courts, public corridors are wide and generously lit, and the façade is composed to give the building a quiet civic presence rather than a clinical one.
